Like many Generation Z children, the Internet has run through my entire teenage years. When I was very young, I liked to keep a diary. Recording my life includes daily mood, activity tracks and thoughts. Of course, children’s diaries may be just one or two sentences, even with typos, but I still feel that the diaries of the past are extremely precious to me. Because they represent a part of the ‘me of the past’. With the gradual increase in age and the rapid development of the surrounding environment, the way people record their lives has become more diversified, such as home digital products (cameras, DV), and short video apps on mobile phones. These technological products, which are easily accessible to the public, have helped everyone to record the treasure moments in life in the form of electronic documents.
My interest in photography gradually formed in middle school. After school, I always feel happy to take a walk in the park near my home to observe the rushing people, the busy birds and beasts, the gorgeous dusk and all the things that are different every day that are worth recording with my eyes. Every time I go home from a walk, I feel that my tired body and mind are restored. Therefore, observing the things around myself and then recording them with cameras is also a way to relieve the stress of life.
It was not until I entered university that I had the first camera in my life. Thanks to the previous accumulation, I quickly mastered the photography skills. The four seasons of Montreal, the beauty of the morning and twilight are all recorded by me with my lens. It’s worth mentioning that looking back at the lonely life of studying in a foreign country alone in my four years of university, I was surprised to find that photography occupies a large part of my life after class. The camera is like my old friend. One person and one camera left their traces in many places.
Therefore, I came up with the idea of creating a personal blog for photography enthusiasts like me. Whether it is sharing my story with photography, or sharing my personal experience in choosing a camera, or regularly admiring the personal works of outstanding professional photographers with you, I am willing to do any exploration about photography.
Next, I will give you a detailed introduction on how to use my blog to get the knowledge and information you want.
How to choose your camera
With the development of photography equipment today, consumers have a wide range of choices. I simply divide camera equipment into two common categories: film cameras and digital cameras.

Definition of digital cameras:
Differences between film cameras and digital cameras
A film camera will store the captured images in the film, which can be later processed and printed. The digital camera sensor will store the captured images in the memory card. You cannot re-use the film for taking pictures when you are using a film camera.

How to cultivate aesthetics
For a photographer, personal aesthetics is often more important than the equipment itself. There is a saying that photography depends on the head instead of the equipment. If you want to go into details, aesthetics can be understood as everything is just right in photography. The decisive elements of a good photo are: the purity of colors, the proper color matching, neat composition, a sense of atmosphere and a sense of story. Of course, these factors are only a rough division, specific analysis of specific circumstances, for example, in the genre of photojournalists, the documentary of the photo may be more important than the beauty of the photo.
As the saying goes, art comes from imitation. For beginners in photography, the most direct way of self-study is to quickly browse through the collection of a large number of photographers, find the photographer you like the most or resonate the most, browse his photos, and learn how he uses the lens to narrative , Read his photographic stories, so as to accumulate a certain aesthetic taste.
In general, under the future photographer introduction sections, I will lead readers to appreciate and learn the creative stories behind professional photographers, and approach the mystery behind an excellent photographic artwork.

How to balance life and hobbies
I think this is a very important topic. As I introduced in the previous article, photography is one of the thousands of ways I choose to experience the world. The essence of any hobby is to be able to exist happily.
As a college student, I am well aware of the negative effects of academic pressure and online class anxiety on everyone’s mental health. So I strongly recommend that everyone actively choose a hobby that interests them to relieve their pressure.
The original intention of establishing such a photography-related blog is actually to share what I have gained from photography so far: it has helped me observe and record the beauty of the subtleties of life, and I deeply believe that the “beauty” and touch of “beauty” constitute our annotation and yearning for the word “beauty”.
So, no matter whether you have bought a camera, or have photography related experience, I hope to bring you the enjoyment of beauty and convey my positive attitude towards a better life. Hope you can take a look at my blog if you have time.
